L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

Where do I begin? I HATE THIS FOUNDATION! Let me start off by saying I have oily, acne-prone skin, and large pores. So these factors may be why this foundation just doesn't work for me. I purchased this after reading so many great reviews on Makeupalley and watching reviews on YouTube.

I chose my shade with the Temptalia Foundation Matrix, and bought the shade C1--it's actually one shade too light for me. I applied a primer (Too Faced Primed and Poreless) and applied the foundation with an Eco Tools traditional foundation brush. Unfortunately, it wasn't super blendable for me. Brush strokes were obviously visible and I had to be extra careful to make sure all of the foundation was blended. After the application, I sprayed on some e.l.f. makeup setting mist.

Within an hour of applying my makeup, I looked in a mirror and was completely disgusted by my foundation. Some of the foundation had smeared off where I had touched my face after application (random itches). I could see almost every single pore on my face. The foundation had definitely settled, not only into my large pores, but into fine lines as well. It appeared very cakey on my skin.

In conclusion:
If you have oily, acne-prone skin, and large pores...you should merrily (I'm feeling the Christmas spirit) walk by this foundation in the drugstore and never look back. It's a complete waste of money, unless you like the look of cake on your face after an hour of application.

Review: 100% Pure Acetone

I'm in love. Prior to using this product, I felt like I had to almost scrub off my polish with remover. Didn't seem like a very good "remover" if I had to scrub several times! I bought this from K-Mart and used it to take of my polish. I used one cotton ball for all of my toes, and in a little over a minute, my toes were polish free. It also claims to remove artificial nails quickly, but I can't say anything about that, as I don't wear them. As far as a nail polish remover, I would give this product a 5/5 rating. I would definitely recommend this product if removing your polish feels like too much of a chore and/or hassle.

I'm not sure if they've repackaged this product, but it looks different from the bottle I have. My bottle is 16Fl Oz, and the top of the bottle is a lilac color, while the bottom is a light green color with a swirl design. It says, "Polish Off Professional, 100% Pure Acetone, Removes Artificial Nails QUICKLY, Removes Polish from Natural Nails, MAXIMUM STENGTH."

It's listed on the K-Mart website here, but I'm not sure if you can buy it online. It is less than $10; I'm assuming about $5. You can also buy a 3-pack (8Fl Oz) here on Amazon.

Thank you for reading, and let me know if you've tried this and what you think!
